In-Person Sharing Session · 2-Hour Deep Dive

From Factory Floor to Global Buyer
17 Key Steps to Export Readiness

What's Covered · Why It's Worth Attending

Not a two-hour slide deck — the entire export process, laid out start to finish

Most people get stuck not from lack of effort, but because no one has ever walked them through the full path — from deciding whether to export, to actually landing a buyer. This session breaks that path into 17 concrete steps over 2 hours — what to judge at each step, where people typically trip up, illustrated with real case studies. You'll also get direct, in-person feedback on the product you bring.

The 17 Steps You'll Learn
Phase 1 · Product & Brand Prep (Steps 1–6)
  1. 01
Product Research — Study US market demand and work backward from channel to product choice, instead of "make whatever's trending"
  2. 02
Brand Positioning — Define your product line direction, brand story, name, logo, and color system
  3. 03
Product Refinement — Optimize product design and lineup based on research findings
  4. 04
Sample Preparation — Produce samples that meet US market standards
  5. 05
Packaging Design — Design professional packaging that meets retail and wholesale channel requirements
  6. 06
Pricing Structure — Build a complete pricing structure from FOB and DDP through to suggested retail price
Phase 2 · Building Market Presence (Steps 7–9)
  1. 07
Product Photography — Produce professional product photos and video assets; a great photo can multiply perceived product value
  2. 08
Catalog + Website — Create a professional product catalog and brand website
  3. 09
Social Media Setup — Set up accounts like Instagram and prepare your first 20 posts
Phase 3 · Launching the Sales Engine (Steps 10–14)
  1. 10
US Inventory Staging — Stock small batches in-market to ensure fast local delivery capability
  2. 11
US Sales Setup — Find and build a sales team or sales representation in the US
  3. 12
CRM Setup — Build a CRM system using tools like HubSpot or Apollo
  4. 13
Trade Show Lead Generation — Select and prepare for relevant industry trade shows
  5. 14
Channel Trial Run — A 1–3 month observation period to build a base of customers and gather market feedback
Phase 4 · Feedback & Iteration Loop (Steps 15–17)
  1. 15
Scaling Up — Increase sales effort and invest in marketing resources like paid social ads
  2. 16
Sales Review — Evaluate sales data, gather channel and customer feedback, and summarize lessons learned
  3. 17
Next-Season Planning — Refine next season's products based on market feedback, forming a continuous improvement loop
Who This Is For
  • Manufacturers already exporting whose orders have declined and want to systematically diagnose the problem
  • Business owners who only do OEM manufacturing and are preparing to transition into their own brand for overseas markets
  • People newer to international trade who want to avoid unnecessary detours
  • Team leads preparing for a trade show who don't yet have a clear buyer strategy
  • Decision-makers considering setting up overseas or building a sales team, who want the full picture first
Requirements to Attend

Bring a product you're currently selling and want to sell outside of China, and prepare 3 questions you most want to ask in advance — you'll get direct, specific feedback on your product and questions, which is far more useful than sitting through generic methodology.

This is an in-person event in mainland China

This session is held in person in Shenzhen and conducted in Cantonese — it is not a virtual event. If travel to mainland China or the language isn't practical for you, one-on-one consulting (see the homepage) covers the same ground remotely, in English.

How the Session Runs

Not two hours of sitting through slides — each attendee takes a turn at the front with their own product, and GoldenPapas gives specific, on-the-spot judgment and advice; questions are welcome throughout, and the questions you bring get taken seriously, not brushed past.

Requirements to Attend

Each attendee needs to meet two conditions: ① Bring a product you're currently selling and want to sell outside of China — you'll get direct, specific feedback on your product, which is far more useful than sitting through generic methodology; ② Prepare 3 questions in advance that you most want to ask GoldenPapas — time on-site is limited, and having your questions clear in advance is what gets you a genuinely useful answer.

Your spot requires prepayment to confirm — payment at the door isn't available; the registration fee covers venue and materials only and doesn't include follow-up consulting. 30+ sessions held over the past two years, with new sessions scheduled on an ongoing basis.

About this session: This session is for experience-sharing and perspective exchange only. Content is based on GoldenPapas's personal experience and judgment, and does not constitute a promise or guarantee of any specific sales outcome, order, or business result. Every company's product, team, execution, and market conditions differ, and actual business outcomes will vary — please approach the content with that in mind.

Photos or video may be taken on-site for later content sharing; registering to attend is considered agreement to this. Please respect the confidentiality of product and business information discussed on-site, and do not share other attendees' specific details externally.
