One-on-One Consulting
We put the product you are selling, the price you are quoting and the channel you are hesitating over back on a Western buyer's desk, and read them the way a buyer reads them. Not a generic framework — a judgment about your product, as it stands today.
Not every question is worth a full consultation. These three usually are — they are the ones that cost the most money.
The product is finished, but you cannot see it as a buyer does
You are looking at quality and value. The buyer is looking at packaging, certification, lead time, shelf dimensions and return rates. Very few people have ever walked you through that gap.
You are guessing at your price
You do not know where your price actually sits in the target market, and you do not know the other side's cost structure or margin. That leaves you negotiating from behind, every time.
You are choosing channels by trial and error
Trade shows, marketplaces, agents, direct accounts, retail — each takes different money and a different timeline. Choose wrong and a year and a large budget are gone.
Every item below is applied to your actual product, not to a checklist.
-
01
Buyer-side review of product and packaging
Your product measured item by item against the shelf standards of mainstream US and EU retail: materials, construction, packaging, instructions, certification, barcodes and carton specs — and which of them would get you screened out in the first round.
-
02
Market and channel judgment
Given your category, your capacity and your budget: which markets and channels are worth entering now, which ones you should stay away from, and the reasoning behind both.
-
03
Pricing and margin structure
From ex-works price all the way to shelf price — freight, duty, channel markup, promotional budget and returns laid out layer by layer, so you can see which segment your real margin lives in.
-
04
Competitor and shelf position analysis
Who you are actually competing with in the target channel, what they charge, what they lead with, and what their reviews complain about — the gaps are where your opening is.
-
05
Buyer communication and negotiation
How to write the first approach, how to send samples, how a quotation should be laid out, and when the price pressure comes: what you can concede and what you can never get back.
-
06
Written action list
A written summary after the session: conclusions, priorities, next actions and dates — something you can take straight into an internal meeting and assign.
We do not start learning about you on the day we meet.
Send background
A short questionnaire before the session: product photos, your current quotation, and where your exports stand today.
We do the homework
We study your product, look up comparable goods in the target channel, and prepare the questions we need to ask you.
The session
Half or full day, working through your specific questions one at a time. Judgments given on the spot, including the uncomfortable ones.
Written summary
Delivered within three working days. Additional sessions or an ongoing engagement can follow if you want them.
Saying it up front beats explaining it afterwards.
What we promise
- You will see clearly where your product stands in the target market
- You get one sequenced path you can start on immediately, not a list of directions
- The most expensive mistakes you are currently making get named, while there is still time to change them
- Every judgment comes from 30 years of real buyer-side work and from your actual situation — not a template
- A written summary your team can use directly
What we do not promise
- We do not promise orders or revenue. Closing depends on your product, your execution and market timing — none of which a consultation controls
- We do not promise introductions to specific buyers. Pushing an introduction before a product is ready spends both sides' credibility at once
- We do not execute for you. Sampling, certification, customs and order follow-up stay with your team
- We do not promise you will like the conclusion. If the judgment is "this product should not enter the US market yet", we will say so
When it is not a fit we will say so. That saves everyone time.
A good fit
- Manufacturers with stable capacity moving from OEM toward their own brand
- Exporters whose orders are sliding, who want to know which link actually broke
- Decision-makers about to commit budget to US/EU markets who want the path clear before the money moves
- Owners with a specific product and specific questions who need one thorough session
Not right now
- An idea with no product yet — start with a sharing session instead
- Anyone hoping someone else will make the decisions and do the work
- Anyone who needs a guaranteed-orders promise
Tell us where you are
Send us your product and the point you are stuck at. We will judge first whether this service suits you — and if it does not, we will say so and point you to the one that does.
